Artoberfest is one of Chico’s most popular events to celebrate arts in the community. 2. Thursday Night Market (April - September 2018)

This festive, weekly market features a bounty of farm-fresh produce from CDFA-certified farmers, mouthwatering prepared foods from food trucks and booths, exciting arts and crafts and live entertainment for all ages. Explore Downtown Chico's Thursday Night Market on Broadway between 2nd and 5th streets, including 3rd Street and City Plaza!

3. Beer lovers, rejoice at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company!

Calling all off-campus CSU students! Year after year, beer fans gather at the birthplace of the nationally distributed Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Schwarber, a Chico-only black ale. You can also enroll in eccentric ‘Beer Camps,’ short-run craft beers brewed by ‘beer nerds’ at invitation-only seminars. Free brewhouse tours are also given regularly.
